Hi all,

Sorry if this question's already been addressed and resides in the
archive - I just joined the lists - but there's no search specific to
this list archive - if there is, please let me know.

My question:

My ISP limits user process memory to 8meg/process. So SA is getting
killed when the reaper catches it. This has not been a big problem for
me, but several users in the ISP's mail newsgroup are seeing this
often. One user ran ps durring an SA run, and found that it was using
8.3 meg.

Is this intended SA memory usage, or is it a bug? I don't know how 8
meg compares to other ISPs, so if it's not a bug, what's the chance that
SA dev might address this as an issue, and make adjustments for less
memory use?

At any rate, I'm sure this has been heard before, but, bravo! and thanks
a mil to the developers of this software. What a work! No longer will
a bunch of nit wit spamers hold our mail boxes hostage, when there's
pros like this around.

Sincerely,

Bryan
