Hey all ...
After I sent out my last email, I spent some more time scouring the web looking for some way of doing this, and came across: http://www.btinternet.com/~davecridland/sanifilter-HOWTO/t1.html Its a Virus scanner that works at the LMTP level, which, from what I can tell from the postfix logs, would be *exactly* what is needed ... unless I'm reading the logs wrong: May 23 11:33:11 earth postfix/qmgr[14211]: 8F5411037C9: from=<>, size=361, nrcpt=2 (queue active) May 23 11:33:12 earth postfix/lmtp[39317]: 8F5411037C9: to=<>, relay=/var/run/socket/lmtp[/var/run/socket/lmtp], delay=1, status=sent (250 2.1.5 Ok) May 23 11:33:12 earth postfix/lmtp[41328]: 8F5411037C9: to=<>, relay=/var/run/socket/lmtp[/var/run/socket/lmtp], delay=1, status=sent (250 2.1.5 Ok) the previous indicates that one message came in, and two seperate lmtp processes were used for delivery, one for each recipient ... I'm suspecting that this is what the whole idea of the lmtpproxyd stuff is that comes with the newest Cyrus? Has anyone toyed with this to create a lmtp-spam proxy? I believe there was mentioned *some* reason why lmtpproxyd in Cyrus wouldn't do for this at this time, but I might have missed something ... ? I'm going to look at the sanifilter stuff and see what would be involved in 'converting it', but just would like to know if someone else has already looked down this road, and/or is working on it? Thanks ... _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
