STARTTLS tunneled mail does not take kindly to being transparently redirected, especially if client certificates are being used. Not sure what percentage of your customers would be using TLS mail, but a false positive redirect would break things. I setup STARTTLS+SMTP AUTH to allow users to relay though our mail server from anywhere without having to remember to monkey with their outgoing mail server preferences, and have to listen for SMTP at alternate ports to get around certain ISPs who block outgoing mail. -- Jeremy Mates http://www.sial.org/ OpenPGP: 0x11C3D628 (4357 1D47 FF78 24BB 0FBF 7AA8 A846 9F86 11C3 D628) _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
