Never mind.  I just tried running them again from different spots and it 
seems to run fine.  I don't know what the heck I was doing at the time to 
generate those errors.

-F0 didn't work but -F1 didn't seem to break anything so the process is now 
running as:

root    14835    1  0 03:43 ?       00:00:00 perl /usr/bin/spamd -d -c -a -F1

Per my reply to Kelsey Cummings, I got this to work but I was a bit confused 
as to why procmail was behaving the way it was.  I guess as long as it's 
working, I'm not going to be too concerned but it was just a little odd.

Thanks for the tips and thanks for providing the spamd/spamc package.  I 
think my users will be glad that I've finally installed a spam filtering 
package.
