FWIW, I'm seeing the *EXACT* same behaviour. Forgive me if I missed it,
but you wouldn't happen to be running a RedHat system would you? All of my
RedHat systems seem to be having the same problem. The workaround I found
was to replace the /usr/bin/spamc in the procmailrc with
/usr/bin/spamassassin -P
I sucks becuase it isn't able to use the daemon as it was intended.
