A few others have had the same problem. There are a few workarounds. One 
of them is to just the following recipe:

:0fw
| /usr/bin/spamassassin -P



Aly S.P Dharshi had the following suggestion:

Since Mandrake is pretty much RedHat (no flames please, I am aware of what 
I am saying) this *should* work for you.
