I checked the man page and found that option:

 -F 0 | 1
           Ensure that the output email message either always starts
with a 'From ' line (1) for UNIX mbox format, or ensure
           that this line is stripped from the output (0).  (default:
1)

Since I didn't specify -F 0 I assumed that it was already on.  I'll
double check it though.  Thanks for the tip!
