It's not impossible -- we could have a token like _MATCH_ which could be
used in rule 'describe' sections which would be replaced by $&, and
maybe _LINE_ which would be replaced by the whole line, if a rule
matched, or something.  File a bugzilla ticket on it and we'll see what
can be done.  Sounds like a good idea to me.  Probably not till the 2.3
line though.
