This will happen if the email is destined for root@ and root is running
spamc via ~/.procmailrc or equivalent.  Either that, or double-check the
user you're giving to spamd with the -u flag.

Note that in the CVS version, if you're delivering mail to root@ (and
root@ is not an alias pointing to another, non-root account) and you're
running spamd with the -P flag, then your email will not be filtered as
spamd will die() before filtering under those circumstances.  It appears
Brian isn't doing this but it bears mentioning.
