I'm a FreeBSD committer. The right answer is to have spamassassin, when it is invoked as a daemon, write its pid out to a file called /var/run/spamassassin.pid. Do not use killall.
I would suggest adding a command line option to spamassassin to do this, and then having /usr/local/etc/rc.d/spamassassin (the init script) invoke it. _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
