For the general patterns at our site, that's probably right about where I'd put it. If anything, I'd maybe consider nudging the medium and low thresholds down just a bit. Here's stats for our server over the past week: 0-4.99 : 35275 5-9.99 : 9212 10-14.99: 3432 15-19.99: 637 20-24.99: 188 25-29.99: 45 30+ : 41 What I actually do (using MIMEDefang) is to add an X-Spam-Level header to the message that contains a row of asterisks equivalent to the integer part of the message's score. That lets my outlook users pick their own cutoff point if they're not happy with the default of 5 (by filtering for, say "X-Spam-Level: **********"). --- Mark Roedel | "The most overlooked advantage to owning a Systems Programmer | computer is that if they foul up there's no LeTourneau University | law against whacking them around a little."
