I tried dropping the -x flag on spamd to Yeah, part of the reason for the move to 2.0 was to make the prefs/config file names a little more clear. spamassassin.prefs is nothing but a template file that gets copied to each user directory if flags to spamd allow, and there isn't already a user prefs file there. site-wide changes in 1.5 should be made in the spamassassin.cf file. > Upgrading to 2.0x is not an option right now.
