Hi C -- still (just barely) reading mail ;)

Problem is that the AWL tests check to ensure that after 3 separate 
invocations the AWL has been updated. so "test then undo" would
still not work.

BTW a related thing is that the tests should not read 
~/.spamassassin/user_prefs -- as if the subject-tag munging is switched
off there, then some tests will break. (I think this is already bugged).

I reckon a way to work around all of these would be to add a -T switch
or similar, which means "running from test suite" and implies

  - ignore user prefs from ~
  - updated AWL for -t (normally -t should not update the AWL)
  - possibly other behaviour specific to test suite
