Michael, I know this will not sound very helpful to you, but I just did a new 
installation of
Eclipse 3.0 and downloaded SJ Eclipse from the update site, restarted Eclipse, 
and SJ Eclipse
worked flawlessly. 

I really don't know what the problem you're having might be. From what the 
message sounds like, it
almost seems that Eclipse can't actually find the SJ Eclipse jar file, which 
makes no sense at
all.

Does anyone else out there have any thoughts? Has anyone experienced a problem 
like this?

A thought just occurred to me. I'm using Eclipse 3.0.2. You're using  3.0.0. 
Could that account
for the problem?
