If your modem accept the command without problems, I think your
network is the problem. My provider is Telefonica, an Spain company,
very extended in Latin America where I am located. The more technical
reference stated above says CMMS is optional. I think is very
important for you to verify the results. Can you tell to some user to
check for improvements using CMMS command?.
