Well, as I said, I've taken my own homemade CS for almost 4 years and
still have fibromyalgia. I think if my symptoms were due to Lyme disease
or MS, as some people have found, I would have seen some improvement, as
I have taken up to a quart of CS a day, and did that for about 2.5
years. The reports I've seen on the silverlist all seem to indicate that
if I had either of those conditions I would have seen at least some
improvement from that much ingested silver over that long a time. Not
perhaps a cure, but some improvement. In fact I had NO improvement in my
major symptoms, except for my IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
Many now think most fibromyalgia is genetic. And recent findings
published by the CDC have indeed found some genetic causes for Chronic
Fatigue. Dr. St. Amand says that in some 40 years of medical practice,
he has never seen a patient with Chronic Fatigue who did not have
Fibromyalgia so he believes they are the same condition.
Cleanses, and all the other things you have been recommended to try are
all very well, and may help, but if this really is a genetic problem,
they will certainly not cure it.
I don't think you should stop the Celexa. However, you may be interested
to know that many people who are on the Guaifenesin Protocol, have (over
years, not overnight) been able to reduce or stop such meds. For myself,
I do what I know works. For example, I have here Trazodone, Cymbalta,
Effexor, and even Chloral Hydrate. None worked, Cymbalta and Effexor had
horrible side effects for me, but I can tell you that if any of them had
worked, I'd be taking them!

There's a lot of good information in these emails. I don't want to get
off my one antidepressant I've been taking for awhile. It makes a
world of difference in my life. Once I ran out on a weekend when I
couldn't get to my pharmacy, and I missed 2 doses. Someone said
something to me that was the teeniest bit offensive and I started
crying. Then I couldn't stop crying and I cried so hard and so long
that I had an upset stomach and a migraine. I was sitting on the
bathroom floor throwing up with company over. I had to go to the
emergency room and get a shot. I will never go through that again. It
reminded me of what my life was like before Celexa.
When I don't have Celexa, my world falls apart. If I didn't have
Celexa, I would be divorced and my poor little girls would be
traumatized. A doctor did not tell me about Celexa. I had several
friends that swore by it, so I asked the Doctor for a prescription. I
stopped freaking out at my husband and getting mad at him, I'm much
more laid back. I don't have any side effects that I am aware of, well
at least, no undesireable side effects :). All my health problems came
before I was on Celexa, nothing has really changed otherwise. I was
told that Silver would cure fibromyalgia, and that those that had
fibromyalgia and had taken silver would vouch for that. I will look
into the other things though.

SHANNON,
ALL OF THE INFORMATION THE OTHERS GAVE YOU IS RIGHT ON, SO I WILL
JUST THROW IN MY INFORMATION.
IBUPROFEN IS CAUSING THE ULCERS AS IT DID IN BOTH MY MOTHER AND MY
MOTHER-IN-LAW.
FIBROMYALGIA IS CAUSED MY THE BODYS NEED FOR MINERALS IE. CALICUM
WHICH IS DEPLEATED BY THE ANTIDEPRESSANTS AND PREVACID. WALKING IS
THE BEST FOR IT NOT ONLY HELPS WITH THE DEPRESSION BUT ALSO WITH
ADDING CALCIUM TO THE BODY. WHEN YOU WALK DO NOT WEAR SUNGLASSES FOR
AT LEAST 20 MINUTES, THIS HELPS WITH THE DEPRESSION.
GET OFF OF ALL DRUGS, THE ANTIDEPRESSANTS DO SO GRADUALLY.
I KNOW WHERE I AM COMING FROM AS I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT 12 YRS AGO AND
COULD NOT WALK, TALK, READ, WRITE OR WATCH TV OR LISTEN TO THE RADIO,
AS I HAVE A SEVERE BRAIN INJURY. ALL THE DOCS SAID YOU CANNOT LIVE
WITHOUT THE DRUGS. I WOULD NOT!!! UNIVERSITY OF WASH. WANTED TO PUT
ME IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION TO REGULATE THE DRUGS!! NO WAY.
I WENT TO VIRGINIA MASON HOSPITAL THAT SPECIALIZES IN BRAIN INJURIES,
DRUGS WERE ALSO THEIR CHOICE FOR THEY THINK THAT IF ONE HAS A BRAIN
INJURY ONE "MUST BE DEPRESSED"!!!! THEY LECTURED ME FOR 2 HRS A DAY
ON THIS. I WOULD NOT!!!I TOLD THEM MY PROBLEM WAS FRUSTRATION BUT
THEY SAID THEY HAVE NO BOX TO CHECK FOR THIS!!!
AN ARTICLE WAS SENT TO ME BY THE PSYCHOLOGY AND HEALTH NEWSLETTER,
VOL.8 ISSUE NO.2. IT TELLS ONE HOW TO EAT WELL AND HOW TO WALK WELL
FOR DEPRESSION. I DID IT!! WHEN I FELT THE DEPRESSION COMING ON I
WOULD GRAB ST. JOHN'S WART FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND ATE BETTER AND I
WAS OK. IF YOU NEED THIS INFO. I CAN SEND YOU A COPY.
I STILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY EYES, FALLING DOWN AND DRIVING BUT I
KNOW MY LIMITATIONS AND I ADDRESS THEM EAT RIGHT AND WALK . A FEW
DAYS AGO I WAS WALKING AND TALKING TO SOMEONE AND NOT PAYING
ATTENTION TO WHERE I WAS WALKING AND FELL FLAT ON MY FACE ON THE
GRAVEL, I COULD NOT STOP MYSELF THE BRAIN HAD HAD ENOUGH.
ALL THE DOCS WILL TELL YOU IS THAT WITH DEPRESSION YOU LOOSE BRAIN
CHEMICALS, I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HOW I LOST THEM AND HOW TO GET THEM
BACK BUT ALL THEY WOULD SAY WAS DRUGS AND EVERYONE IN MY CLASS OF 20
BELIEVED THEM BUT NOT I.
p.s. I KNOW I PROBABLY HAVE MISSPELT WORDS AND MY WRITING IS NOT GOOD
BUT PLEASE DO NOT CORRECT, AS SOMEONE DID THE LAST TIME. IT TOOK DAYS
TO WRITE THIS AS I CAN ONLY SPEND 2 MINUTES A DAY ON THE COMPUTER AND
MY EYES AND BRAIN ARE SPENT.
