Thank you for your very educational reply. I have flagged it for
future reference. List members are fortunate indeed to have someone
with your knowledge among us.
If Esquire published worthwhile letters, I would urge you to write, but
most are one-paragraph or so of drivel. It would be a waste of your
time to follow up on it with Esquire. But I for one certainly
appreciate the time and trouble you took to explain what you know.
I hope to find the Mother Jones article on line. Your message
encourages me to become a subscriber.
