At first glance, Hawkins seems to be into manipulating life as many wind up trying to do...as though...a tail could know what a dog is all about. He speaks of power vs force in way that slurs the distinction. I prefer 'power over' vs 'power of'. Both are egoic fantasies but 'power of' , being more energy efficient, flows with the perfection more smoothly.
The whole idea of flow has to do with no-thing needs to be manipulated...only appreciated. [Which is not anything like worship.] The words need and manipulate are not the proper ones to convey the idea. or Miracles "are", noticing them happens when we stop telling them what they should look like. But there is no "need" to notice. [There is some calming of the terror if you do] Miracles that are bought and sold generally fall a bit short. Not that that activity doesn't have value to those who would buy and sell them...as in an.. if you're really scared 'lookie here' [You forgot what you are...as planned.] And it has to cost something to be worth something ... in this park. Dr Hawkins isn't "wrong". He just went far enough to have something to sell and no further. Why would a 'not doing' cost anything? ..or even be a necessity? OK, here we have our amazement park with all the action and reaction and consequences that lay in that context. Call that Karma if you will. You print your free ticket, go for a frightful thrilling ride, then go home to talk about it. What part of home has consequences that have anything to do with an amazement park experience that's just a memory? ...and never was anything else. Karma, judgements of any sort, only have relevance within the contex of the Ferris Wheel of illusions of life it rides on. You cannot destroy home by believing you left it. Forgetting where it is doesn't make it explode. Recall the parable of the prodigal son? That's what that story was about. Killing the deer, being the deer killed...just grins and giggles and screams of imagined terror. Are you dead when you get home? No, you remember the last adventure, discuss the next adventure and plan the next sequence of activities, right? Then put on the appropriate costume, be it the hunter or the hunted, and go for another ride. Some folks prefer to jump from one ride straight to the next in order to keep Karma rolling. ..sure, why not? Put another way, denying that all is perfect doesn't make in imperfect...it makes it LOOK imperfect. Being scared shitless requires some shit. It's all good fertilizer. Experiencing a distraction requires it's opposite..attraction...something to be distracted 'from'. They are the same thing seen from different angles, as are all things. [All 'things' are activities...events being experienced.] I always get what I want. I just don't remember wanting it...and I forgot because I wanted to. There simply is. no. way. to. fail. The only power required to be a creator, AND experience that creation 'as real', is the ability to forget, then forget that you forgot...to deny the reality of absolute balance and successfully deny the denial. That's a LOT easier than remembering when you went to sleep...takes less than zero effort. Ponder this. Do you ever remember going to sleep? It's so easy that you can't even 'try' to do it and succeed...and you don't know you succeeded till you wake up. [Or your own dreams become unbelievable even to you.] How many times can you wake up in one day without going to bed again? My record is 3 times, so far. Now that's one weird way to have a day! So....how do I know I'm awake now? I can't know. I would have to 'wake up' to know...over and over again. [YAAAAAA!] I proved to myself beyond doubt that Thinking I'm awake and experiencing 'being' awake is not the least bit of proof that I 'am' awake. Sweet dreams...frightfully exciting nightmares. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ But then, I once woke up to see myself sleeping....dreaming with everyone in this galaxy and inestimable galaxies of dreamers beyond. I got to be with the watchers for a momentary eternity. [They/I were pretty surprised...but there aren't any "rules" to break , so it was OK.] ..that's another story...a whole 'nuther construct.
