  Marshall, you need to balance your equations. The above  reaction is
  impossible. It should read:

  This equation  is also unbalanced. I don't have the  correct version
  at hand,  but  I believe the right side should  contain  Ag(+)  as a
  result.

  Since your equations are incorrect, you cannot make  the conclusions
  you state.
