Dear Barb and Trem:

Thank you for your suggestions of COQ10, magnesium, cayenne, and the oxygen
therapy. I have wondered about oxygen therapy and felt it might be of
benefit. Is it easy to buy an oxygen tank? Will do some checking.

As for the magnesium, have been taking it somewhat regularly for the last
year, and have no doubt it has helped. Regarding the COQ10, is it perfectly
safe, any research you are aware of that I might find? Am a little careful
about what I take, due to some of the health problems I have had.

The cayenne I have used from time to time, but did not realize it could be an
ongoing therapy. Are you saying it could be used consistently or on an as
needed basis? Know it has been around for centuries, along with tumeric (as
an antibiotic).

My basis in looking for a natural antibiotic, is based on the premise that
some underlying bacteria might be responsible for some of the problems, and
that the circulation problems, weight, and arthritis might be symptoms of an
underlying bacteria or virus.
You see our dog also has the very same identical problems (and we also lost
another dog two years ago to congestive heart failure). In the last three
years, two neighbors have also died of congestive heart failure. Now hubby is
also developing a heart problem, identical to what I have. Besides the poor
circulation, something else is going on! This is all just too much of a
coincidence, and getting a little scary.

Post mortem, the two neighbors both had an unusual kind of antibiotic
resistant infection. We didn't have the dog autopsied. We know I have a
blood bacteria or virus (because of the ITP) but they are not able to
identify it, other than to indicate that some of the red blood cells have an
unusual shape.

Your suggestions and thoughts are sincerely appreciated.
