Dear Bob and Hugh, Regarding Crohns Disease, Yes it is sadly often triggered by antibiotics given for something else. Aloe vera gel or juiced along with acidophilous capules have had great success in curing this condition. There is a conventional doctor who has a radio call in show, and he says he cures that and other supposedly incurable auto-immune diseases with derivitives of the tetracylene drugs, monocycline(sp?) and doxycyclines(sp?) His name is Gabe Mirkin and he has a website. For a conventional physician who knocks most alternatives he is pretty good. Cures arthritis and MS and stuff with anti-biotic therapy. He does not believe there is any such thing as autoimmune disease. He says that research into mycoplasma organisms has shown that they are the main cause of chronic illness that is called auto-immune. Says that the immune system only attacks part of the body when there is a hidden infection. Thinks doctors who ascribe to autoimmune theories are stupid. He has a website too.
