Hi Evelyn, I’ve replied and bcc’d you directly as well because I may have something that could really help.
A while ago I was worried about long term sinus infections. However, in all my reading they are basically impossible to cure because they sit inside your sinus cavity and anything that does reach there via your blood stream is very dilute. Additionally, just about all long term sinus infections are caused by fungus - which really limits mainstream medicines tools. I did find something. Sinus flushing using a protocol by a guy called ‘Figgy': http://www.medhelp.org/user_journals/show/2322/The-Sinus-Flush I realize your infection is in the eustachian tubes, however, when you read his set of posts he warns about getting the liquid into your eustachian tubes (it can spread infection, etc). When I did his flush I was fine for about a week of twice daily flushing until things opened up enough that I suddenly ended up with water in my eustachian tubes! You can actually feel the water move along them. It’s a very odd feeling. The water actually travelled all the way into my ears (from the inside) and I had that ‘water in your ears’ feeling that took about 2 weeks to fade as the water was slowly reabsorbed into my body. It’s was hassle. However, since you have an infection in your eustachian tubes this could actually be a very good thing as it would provide you a way to reach the infection site directly with silver! His protocol calls for clean water and salt to make it isotonic (otherwise is really hurts). If you were to replace the water with 20ppm ionic silver or similar and salt you’d be able to get the silver directly onto the infection and kill it - as well as rinse out some of the old infection. Thats the great thing with silver - if you can get it right onto the infection there is very little it won’t kill. I realize this sounds very odd, however, I’ve done it myself. It feels strange at the start, but so long as you get the salt balance right and use warm water it doesn’t hurt or feel especially uncomfortable. Given you’d need enough silver water, I’d suggest getting a machine to make it or find a cheap source. One thing main stream medicine recommends for ear infections in kids is taking an anti-inflammatory as it reduces the swelling in the eustachian tubes and allows easier drainage. I’m a fairly large man with a physically big head and thus presumably big eustachian tubes which I’d assume would make draining them easier. From your name I assume you’re a woman and thus probably have smaller eustachian tubes. You might keep anti-inflammatories in mind if you’re not making great progress with the sinus flushing. And finally, I’m not a doctor and I’ve never personally dealt with an eustachian infection - but given how you describe the impact on your life, this might be something to try. Best of luck!
