Hello Evelyn, This is what I do for any family ear infection - I put 3 drops of 10ppm CS into their, and they lay on their side for seven minutes. Then flip and do the other ear for seven minutes. Then flip again to let that ear drain. I had read long ago that seven minutes was the recommended time.
We haven't had an infection in years, but we will do this as a precaution once in a blue moon if my daughter gets water in her ear from swimming. We have always made our own CS. Good luck.
