Hi Ron, MSM is merely a delivery system: it helps cells open for detoxing and also to receive nutrients. After my emergency surgery, (they'd administered abx just before it) I told them I'd be following up with CS and wouldn't comply with abx. They were fine with it, because they're already using surgical dressings with silver and apparently are learning the virtues of CS for sterilizing and maintenance in the hospital. For the first week after, I used my MSM/CS technique every night and sipped an oz of CS about every hour. Then I just put a couple oz in my big mug of water, which my dear husband kept filled.
BTW, any time you want to deliver any beneficial tincture or supp sublingually, to bypass the stomach, MSM is a great tool.
