I always understood that we get large amounts of calcium from most food we eat but not so much magnesium nowadays so unbalancing things. I personally wouldn¹t take minerals in supplement form only wholefoods, but I believe the salts version is different. I personally take mag phos for nerve pain and it seems to be working. I also am giving it to my dog who is in early onset CDRM and I am hoping it will help (along with other protocol I am following) that it will slow things up. dee
