My mother was the only one of 6 young women to survive, when the surgeons
realised, after the death of the 5th patient, that when performing
thyroidectomies they needed to leave the parathyroid glands & not remove
them.
The reason I addressed my post to Dee is because she was discussing
homeopathy, not calcium supplementation.

Calcium is the last thing someone with a bad parathyroid needs. They
already have too much.
The only way to fix this problem is to have the bad gland taken out. I had
that done two weeks ago. And cs doesn't help this situation but doesn't
hurt either. I take it daily for other reasons.
