The long extablished consensus, based on over a decade of testing, experimentation and experience by members of this group, is that properly made CS (or EIS, as some like to call it) is not detectably sensitive to light and can be stored in clear bottles. The dark bottles recommendation evolved from the earliest methods of making CS, all of which included the use of salt or baking soda as an accelerant for the process, resulting in a product that contained silver salts that ARE photosensitive. You're not still making your CS that way, are you John? If so, your advice applies... to you. And I'd advise you to modernize your production methods, though, for your own safety. Be well, Mike D.
