>From my research in hormones, bi-polar can be from Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, a thyroid condition. In addition, this condition can be caused by parasites in the thyroid or other parts of the body - like viruses, bacteria, fungi. They can mess up the hormone balance and/or cause autoimmune diseases.
Thyroid supplements usually help, but you'd need to get tested first!
