Not always true. Some "nutritional" yeasts contain no B12

For me the red star vegetarian support formula does not provide sufficient B12 as 2 TBS of it only supply 8 mcg. I regularly supplement 2000 to 3000 mcg B12, as I have a marker for B12 anemia.
