Hmm. Maybe we have different intentions re use. I bought it only to use or take as an inhaler for CS. Personally, I can't see how it could really effective in a large room. Perhaps it would be good for a small area that surrounds the individual - then again, I don't know how far the ionic mist would go into the air from the unit's base. It's those cool, concentrated close up lung fulls that I bought it for.

I found it really good and easy to use and realised what Ode meant about covering the transducer when I used it (duh!) the only thing is, do you have to have it high up because I notice the mist sort of drops and can't see how it actually gets around the room? I did take in a few good lungfuls though so now feel confident if I get an infection again. The one I have seems to be a little older. I guess, it would shut off if empty. But, to answer your question, I put it away dry for storage, when I am done. Have you tried it yet? Do you like it. All these questions, and not a word as to what you think of efficiency or whether you've even used it yet. :) Regards, Carol Ann ~ The only thing that is different is how you think.. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html
