Did you get the newer model with the clock. The one I have seems to be a little 
older.  I guess, it would shut off if empty. But, to answer your question, I 
put it away dry for storage, when I am done.  Have you tried it yet? Do you 
like it.  All these questions, and not a word as to what you think of 
efficiency or whether you've even used it yet. :)

    Hi Carol Ann.  Apparently, the one I got turns itself off automatically if 
empty.  Just a question which doesn't seem clear in the blurb.  It says you 
have to empty it if turning off (I think)  do you?  Thanks again, Dee.

No, I don't know, sorry.  Thus far it has run until I turn it off manually.  A 
little (few ounces) goes a long way.  I've not left it running all night 
either.  My use thus far has been about 1 hr per session of CS inhalation. When 
done, or when I see the liquid has expired, I just turn it off.
