Almost all people who have heart attacks are low on magnesium. Calcium and magnesium work together. Cal/mag/vitamin D are a good combo. Magnesium also has a lot to do with muscle strength. It is also tied very strongly to "women's urinary urgency" as the ads so delicately put it. The very first time I took a separate dose of magnesium, 1 MDR, I slept all night without having to get up to go to the bathroom. Incredible! I was pleasantly surprised.
