Wow. Now I know why I have always instinctively refused to use a microwave
to heat or cook my food. Thank you for this information. Maybe together we
can all stay healthy. Faith G.

Subject: Shocking Dangers of Microwaves
If you are still uncertain regarding your thoughts on microwaves and the
apparent dangers associated with them, there was a tragedy in 1991 that
made everyone stop and think about using their microwaves. A man in
Oklahoma died from a simple blood transfusion because the hospital used a
microwave to warm up the blood. If this type of tragedy does not open your
eyes, nothing will! When hearing a story like this it becomes painfully
obvious that there is far more to heating up food in a microwave than we
have been led to believe over the years. >From this incident alone it is
obvious that there are some unknown factors regarding how a microwave uses
heat to heat up foods. When you find yourself using your microwave on a
daily basis, you too are consuming these same unknowns, which caused an
unnecessary death so many years ago.

Today you will find a microwave in just about every American home, yet
over the years the dangers and hazards of these electronics have been well
documented. You can even test the dangers of your microwave yourself by
using microwave water to water one seed and regular tap water for the
other seed. You will see that the seed using the microwave water will not
sprout. With this in mind, imagine what else your microwave can harm.
There have been dozens of studies regarding the dangers of eating
microwave foods and each of them show health risks and precautions that we
should not only become more aware of but also do something about it.
One of the most influential studies was led by a Swiss biologist taking a
look at what microwave foods can do to your body overtime. This study
consisted of 8 people who were secluded during the study to eat only raw
foods, conventionally cooked foods and microwave foods. With blood tests
taken after each meal the biologists running this study found the blood
chemistry was greatly altered after eating a microwave dinner. From here
another study was published regarding what happens when you choose to
microwave breast milk for your newborn baby. This study showed that the
microwave severely destroyed a great deal of the disease fighting
capabilities within the milk, which make breast milk so beneficial to
begin with.
Just from these two studies alone you should be getting a clearer idea as
to what your microwave can do to your health and has been doing over the
years. Microwaves have attracted so much negative attention over the years
that in Russia, they were banned in 1976 due to studies and reports such
as the two listed above. Below I have listed some of the other risks and
negative connections microwaves have been linked to throughout the dozens
of studies and research projects over the years since their creation.
Eating food that has been processed and cooked in a microwave can cause
permanent brain damage as the microwave can cause shortages in your brain
that can never be reclaimed.
Male and female hormones can shut down or be altered when you continually
eat foods cooked in the microwave.
When you microwave foods no matter how much nutrients they may have had to
begin with, you receive little to no benefit from them once the food is
cooked in a microwave.
The minerals in vegetables are transformed into cancer forming free
radicals.
Stomach and intestinal cancer tumors can be caused by microwave foods or
snacks.
Your immune system can be lowered.
Microwaved foods can cause digestive disorders.
Eating microwave foods regularly can cause your body to stop utilizing the
vitamins and nutrients it does get; causing colon and digestive
conditions.
As you can see there are many serious conditions and risks that can be
associated with eating too frequently from your microwave and many people
today enjoy the convenience but pay no attention to these obvious dangers.
Understanding how a microwave works can be the key to really understanding
its dangers. A microwave is quite similar to light and radio waves as it
also uses electromagnetic energy to achieve its final results. Each
microwave contains its own magnetron. A magnetron is a tube filled
with electrons that are affected by magnetic and electronic fields so they
then produce micro wavelength radiation of about 2450 Mega Hertz. The
radiation that is created by your microwave then interacts with your food
accordingly.
The term radiation is one that often scares consumers today, which makes
it so difficult to know if these studies are correct or if microwaves are
in fact safe. Throughout history and the origins of microwaves, mothers
have not been receptive to this new technology and this type of instinct
is one that should not be ignored. When microwaves were first introduced
to the world, many mothers would cook any of their meals using this
machine and did not like the taste of their coffee when using the
microwave to boil the water. These are sure signs that there is something
about the way the microwave works that reacts negatively with both food
and water, changing the taste.
In our society today we are so obsessed with convenience and quick service
that the microwave was in fact the perfect invention and not only do we
use them within our own homes but commercial and chain restaurants use
them as well, therefore it can be hard to know when the food we are eating
has been heated in a microwave or not.
Although there have been conflicting studies published on this subject my
advice is to still eliminate microwave use or at the very least minimize
its use. Consider taking the time to unthaw your foods naturally instead
of defrosting them in the microwave. Cook meals using your stove, oven and
toaster oven which, are healthier options that will keep you away from
these unknown factors about the microwave that have yet to be discovered.
You should also be making use of a blender for juicing raw fruits and
vegetables. Be smart and take steps that will lead you towards better
health instead of away from it! If you're someone who BBQ's frequently I
suggest you also read my article on The Hidden Health Hazards of Grilling
and Barbecuing.
