This probably works on the principles of is called a "swamp cooler".
It draws water up a wick to have air blown across it in order to evaporate the liquid.
 Evaporation is distillation.
It distills the water into the air and all the CS will stay in the wick.
An Ultrasonic humidifier vibrates the water so fast and hard that it breaks it up into a mist and "throws" it all into the air and they work GREAT...But.. most have an ion exchange resin filter in them that should be gutted or bypassed.

Some ultrasonics have a wick that delivers water to the transducer. Those will Probably work OK.
That type is generally a very small humidifier.

An old tech impeller type humidifier has a rotating disk that "throws" mist into the air. They'll work too.
Sorta noisy.

Glad to be here Mike, Thanks!

OK, well the facial sauna thing wont work then cause it heats the
water and creates steam, but the humidifier I have may work. It has a
it draws the water by wicking it from the reservoir.
