My brother lives in town but has a pool and has potted tomatoes all around it with herbs planted at their base. Boy do they produce in that moist environment. We have a horse farm but we do garden. Have walking fertilizer factories.

Hi Dianne:) I am going to have to try the spraying the meat and things before I put them in the fridge! You live on a farm? Yummy! All those fresh veggies, sigh. I don't have enough room but to maybe grow a potted tomato plant:( ----- Original Message ----- From: Dianne France<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2007 7:45 AM Subject: Re: CS>Can you use CS to cook with? I don't use it cooking but do spray my produce and basically anything that goes into the refrigerator before I put it in there. That is after I've washed fresh produce off. The produce stays nice much longer. My son sprays his raw meats before putting them in the refrigerator. I've also washed and sprayed serving holiday plates and bowls before using them since most of them had been stored for some time and no telling what might have gotten on them. I'm not a germ phobic (couldn't be and live on a farm) but like to keep the family safe. Okay question:) I know this sounds weird, and I haven't seen anything about it, but can you add CS to foods while you're cooking? Will it kill a coli in food, or will it help keep it from spoiling as fast? Inquiring minds want to know:) LOL, I have cooking on the brain since two nights before Thanksgiving and I'm working on my Christmas dinner menu and my weekly holiday baking schedule right now:) I know in history people ate from silver and gold plates, bowls, cups, platters, and used silver and gold eating utensils, but I've not seen anything about CS and cooking.
