Well, from what I saw in that documentary - it might make Gitmo look like the Garden of Eden. I believe Tihar jail was featured in it. There are people there who have been waiting some 5 years waiting for judgement on charges of shoplifting! Turning over those who can't afford decent lawyer to the police is as good as a death sentence. Incidentally, what happens to you in India if you can't afford a lawyer and are not capable of representing yourself? Is there a public attorney who will fight your case? What is their motivation to win the case in your favour? Kiran
