I think that you are merely using the topic of someone elses emotion to buttress your viewpoint in a triumphalist manner - as if to say "ha ha" This is what I believe is juvenile - because that is an action that is often used in internet discussions to divert from opinions to emotions. It is a data point for me to note that you need to resort to this and justify it by saying that it calms you. That I will agree with - I think you do need to resort to triumphalist comments to calm yourself. But that is not necessary. one can actually conduct a civilised discussion without triumphalism and statements abiout other participants state of mine.
