Personal level indicators in gmail are not the same as the message quoting prefix of '> '. You only see personal indicators when you are looking at a list of messages with a label. If you are looking at a list of threads in this list view and come across an email that has '›' (note. this is a different character from the ascii '>') next to it. This means that someone Cc-ed you on this message. One with '»' indicate emails sent only to you. Thaths -- "You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel." -- Homer J. Simpson
