its been some years since i used yahoomail (those ads ...ugh) but the
gmail interface has this :

No indicators
Show indicators - Display an arrow ( › ) by messages sent to my
address (not a mailing list), and a double arrow ( » ) by messages
sent only to me.
Bonobashi, you may have to check the Y!mail settings for the indicator
settings. btw, if your OS is some flavour of Linux, try a mail client
like TB, Evolution (ick..) that are GUI based.
