Any cellular network experts here who can help me with this? I recently visited the Turks & Caicos and used the Digicel network to roam. I received my bill from Vodafone and while in the T&C Islands, Digicel is shown as Digicel - Jamaica and because of this Vodafone are charging me international call rates for all local calls I made in the T&C Islands.
Vodafone have been useless at helping me with this so I wrote to Digicel and this is what they said: Good morning sir I will need for you to send me your Vodafone number for the technical team to verify that your number was attached to the TCI network during the time highlighted below. Your phone operator switching team can also do this by viewing the VLR to which you was attached. What is happening our VLR address shows as a Jamaican number and we need to ensure that Vodafone knows the difference in the HLR addresses. What does their reply mean apart from the first sentence?
