The Sydney Public Library was built in the late 1800's and has a number of "fylfot" inlaid in the tile floor. They've had to put up informative plaques explaining the difference between them and the Nazi swastika. > Thought of you and Debbie a lot during this Deepavali. Sydney has a large south asian population, it was a lot of fun seeing people dressed up and celebrating Diwali - and knowing what was going on. :) I wished a number of people on the street a happy Diwali, somewhat to their surprise I think. :) We have a housekeeper here who's from Fiji but of Indian origin, she "casually" mentioned to us that Diwali was coming up and hinted that a gift might be appropriate. It made me homesick for India. -- Charles
