Perhaps -- indeed, I think they're better off as part of India -- but isn't that really up to them to decide and not up to everyone else? You might be correct when you tell your 30 year old friend that he's making a mistake by quitting his job as a lawyer and trying to survive as a musician, but you should have no right to impose this view upon him "for his own good", should you?
