Agree. In fact, we should have done this at the time of partition. Holding on to Kashmir was an obsession of Nehru's, and subsequently, a machismo issue. But the real irony is that very few people understand that sending young soldiers out to die in the Karakoram is not machismo, and yet, these are the loudmouths who will accuse Vir Sanghvi of being unpatriotic and disrespectful of the military for suggesting what will be branded as a "surrender"
