Pilot / ATC / frequent flyer boards like pprune, airliners.net, flyertalk etc are highly critical of the ad for various reasons.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=747909 for example. And it had this fun comment in it - It's just a commercial. An Apple commercial, for crying out loud. People who buy Apple computers think that a mouse with two buttons is too complicated; these are not the brightest bulbs on the tree here. They think it's better to buy a new iPod every year when the battery dies rather than buy a better player with replaceable batteries, because gosh darn it, that iPod is so cuddly and adorable you have to fall in love with it emotionally even if the logic makes no sense.
