Indeed, Radhika, I was thinking of adding "varna" as a name for caste
and saying that like many other things that we boast about (India was
the first to do a,b,c) we were the first to have "colour"
discrimination, too...

Sandhya...who can join your virtual book club? More importantly, if it
is a face-to-face meeting...which city are you in?
