Welcome Dhiren, You don't know what you have let yourself in
for....the list has just had a discussion on the game theory of
leaving the toilet seat up or down...or something to that effect.

Don't worry about engaging with folks, there have been high-profile
marriages and divorces, too, apparently, though the list seems highly
respectable lately...

Hello everyone,

I just joined the list so I thought I would send out a quick
introduction. I admittedly don't yet know much about this list, except
that I saw some interesting messages forwarded by Uday on another list.
So I thought I would join and check out the conversation.

A bit about me: I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I currently run a
small consulting business focusing on business and technical services
for startups (biz dev/partnerships, web app development, etc.). I've
spent most of my life as a developer working on internet/web
applications, and I recently completed the MBA program at UC Berkeley.
I'm interested in photography, design, entrepreneurship, economics,
finance, movies, books, and open source software (not necessarily in
that order ;-). I recently helped to design and launch
http://dorsalsource.org/, a website that provides community-built
editions of the MySQL server (MySQL is doing that less frequently
themselves nowadays).

I'm looking forward to engaging with more folks on the list.

Cheers,

Dhiren
