What are your favourite threads in all these years you've been around
(which is some number between 0 and 26)?
Sadly, I lost my collection of silklist emails a couple of years back,
and haven't yet figured out how to restore them. (Thunderbird does *not*
make this easy!)
So, based solely upon my quite flaky memory...
The annual books list. Not that I've read many of the suggestions (and
not just because I'm limited to English), but it usually reminds me of
how little recreational reading I'm doing, and encourages me to address
that. I am on the hunt for the Murderbot series now.
Threads that offer perspective on the IT realm, especially the AI
sub-realm, from those who have put large amounts of thought into it.
I've made a few small changes to my approach as a result.
But my very favorite are threads that have obliged me to think about
things, particularly when they offered a view from a new angle. New
perspectives is one of my primary reasons for reading.
More if I can upload my backups.
Cheers,
