These are threads, per-se, but recollections of conversations:

1. That guy who was seriously trolling Silklist and who got banned. One of
the rare instances of banning I have seen in Silklist.

2. We had a resident kook for a few years who would post long rants with
missing punctuations (who was the ex of another silk-lister). At the time I
thought it was "interesting". But I view it as rather sad now. Mental
health struggles are real and not entertainment.

3. The annual-ish book recommendation threads (but I am biased here)

4. Some of the super-long running threads over multiple years (Aquavit,
Sterling's annual state of the World,...)

5. Pun runs (all of them).
