Thank you Radhika for the things you wrote about poetry. It brings to mind
my late father, who loved poetry and quoted so many poems by heart, ranging
from Abou Ben Adam to the Yorkshire romantics, to TS Eliot-- I think with
the Sanskrit stuff "Dham, dhamyata, something." After my father's death, I
have started getting into poetry. Still haven't figured it out. But maybe
I will enroll for that Coursera workshop.

In terms of Cory's piece which I enjoyed, I think words are a poor
substitute for the most important emotions in life, which are largely
inarticulable. Talking about art, for me, is really about talking about
emotions-- which is very difficult. Try explaining why you feel what you
feel. Art can help you articulate that. And your loved ones will thank
you for this skill :)
