Hi Rod, the idea is definitely interesting! As for domain purchases - avoid all the scrupulous domain registrars (GoDaddy, Crazy Domains et al) - I prefer planetdomain.com or MelbourneIT for registrations (the price is higher, but you know what you're getting).
